Dr. Jenkins faithfully served the college for 35 years, impacting countless students, faculty, and staff with his unwavering positive and encouraging spirit.

The college community will honor his life and legacy with two gatherings. A “Wake of Remembrance” will be held Friday from 6:00–8:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church in Lakeport, featuring refreshments, music, laughter, and stories—just the way Mike would have wanted. A formal “Celebration of Life Service” will follow at the same location on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
