Obituary – William David Alexander, 34, of Garden City, MI Has Died
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William David Alexander, 34, of Garden City, MI, who tragically passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025. William was born on December 29, 1990, in Ypsilanti, MI, to Tim and Janine (Atwood) Alexander.
A proud graduate of Michigan Youth Academy in 2009, William’s life was characterized by his hard work and dedication. He was the Sales Manager at Atchinson Ford in Belleville, MI, where he earned the respect of his colleagues and clients alike. Will had a passion for life, enjoying activities like traveling, riding his dirt bike, and playing chess. He was also an active member of Connection Church in Canton, where he recently participated in the Kingsmen Group.
Will’s greatest joy, however, was being a loving father to his daughter, Iyla Marie Alexander. He treasured his family above all else, and his love for them was boundless. His family and friends remember him as a loyal, caring person who was always there for others.
William is survived by his daughter Iyla, fiancé Jessica Owens, parents Tim and Janine Alexander, brothers Mike (Trisha) Alexander, Tim (Nicole) Reed, and James (Geneva) Atwood, five nephews, his beloved dog Mack, and best friends Trevor Warner and Justin White. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Pastor Dave Stephens will officiate. Interment will take place at Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock, MI.
