Peter Studebaker,Las Vegas Master Magician And Comedian Has Died
It is with profound sadness that I share the news of the passing of my dear friend, Peter Studebaker. Peter was one of the truly good ones an incredibly talented magician, a brilliant comedian with a razor-sharp wit, and a creative mind that transformed every room he entered. His presence was electric, and his artistry, whether in magic or humor, made our world and our craft better.
Peter was the CEO of Peter Studebaker Productions, a Las Vegas-based live performance firm specializing in using magic to draw crowds at trade shows and turn special events into unforgettable experiences. His talent wasn’t just in performing magic but in understanding how to use his craft to create impactful, memorable moments for both audiences and clients.

Peter’s journey into magic began at the age of eleven in Houston, where he would visit local libraries, hauling home stacks of magic books taller than he was. His passion grew from there, and it was an early visit to a magic shop that sealed his fate. Watching a magician invert a champagne glass, only to make a coin dematerialize and reappear inside it, was a life-changing moment for Peter. As he often said, it was “unbelievable”—and that sense of wonder stayed with him throughout his career.
I cherished every conversation we had, and I will dearly miss those moments. His humor, creativity, and dedication to his craft inspired all who had the privilege of working with him. Peter Studebaker’s legacy will live on in the magic he created, both on stage and in our hearts.
