Manchester United midfielder and Former West Brom Remi Moses dies At 65
The football world is mourning the loss of former West Bromwich Albion and Manchester United midfielder Remi Moses, who has died at the age of 65.
A Manchester-born player, Moses first made his mark at West Brom, making 63 appearances and scoring five times between 1979 and 1981. His impressive form earned him a £500,000 move to Manchester United, where he became a popular and wholehearted member of the squad throughout the 1980s.

A tireless midfield battler, Moses made 150 appearances for the Red Devils. His career is fondly remembered for his tenacious performances, notably against Barcelona’s Diego Maradona in 1984, where he famously reduced the Argentine maestro to very little. Moses also holds the significant honour of being the first black player to score for Manchester United.
Sadly, a succession of injury issues plagued his time at Old Trafford, forcing his premature retirement at just 28. Despite this, he remains a firm favourite among United fans, remembered for his immense talent and fighting spirit.
